Gametime is a mobile-first ticket broker that has both Android and iOS applications. The company has one of the best experiences for buying last minute tickets because you can do it on your phone and you don’t need to print the tickets. Gametime allows users to purchase tickets for sports events, including MLB, NFL, NCAA, NBA, NHL and MLS games and WrestleMania, AMA Supercross Championship and PGA Tour events, as well as music events, such as concerts, and other performances, including comedy and theater. The app compiles data of unsold tickets from various suppliers and displays the 50 best results for the selected venue, determined by price and location through a proprietary algorithm.

Update: Gametime has raised a total of $41.5M in funding over 4 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Sep 13, 2017 from a Venture – Series Unknown round. Gametime achieved an astounding 34,000% growth over the past 3 years and has been named the:
“#1 Fastest Growing Consumer Company in the USA” – Inc 5000 (2017)
“Fastest Growing Ticket Company Ever” – Business Insider (2017)
“Best Event App” – 2017 Appy Award
“Best in Mobile Fan Experience” – Sports Business Journal (2017)
The biggest issue with Gametime is that it is fairly low traffic compared to its competitors and thus it has a limited number of tickets and event listings. There also have been significant complaints from customers about app glitches where they were charged for tickets that they didn’t actually purchase but they have since been better at avoiding this.
