We have a small favour to ask. More people are reading the Assistant than ever and we want to keep our website as helpful as we can.

The Assistant takes a lot of time and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

I have been working as an Assistant since I was 15 years old.

While most teenagers my age were working as waitresses or bagging groceries, I was going to an office every day after school. By the time I was 18, my position had gradually transformed from someone who only made photocopies to an essential part of the office where I coordinated events, drafted letters, and booked travel for the CEO.

As the years progressed, I gravitated towards being an Executive Assistant. I landed my first role as an EA to a CEO within four years of working full-time. I began to realize that with high-level executives traveling often, my position had turned virtual by default.

With over 10 years of experience, I have created my own Virtual Assistant business, going from a dependable EA to a dependable VA. Specializing in administrative project support, email and calendar organization, travel coordination, systems management, and event organization, I can help you save time by delivering results you can depend upon.

In my spare time, I like to write about Star Wars (I’m a huge fan; ), go to sci-fi conventions and drink tea.
